I purchased two of these gorgeous chandelier fans. I replaced two older fans—these were easy to install. (Adding the crystals was work, but it went quickly and was worth it. I found a great video that helped me get started.)Note: Make sure you tuck your house wires after connecting back up into your electrical box in the ceiling power code using properly sized connectors. This step is not included in the directions.I would definitely give 5 stars to these fabulous fans; however, the fans received are NOT 42” fans. I had no way of knowing this until they were installed and powered up. I reported the incorrect size to the seller and got zero reply regarding the incorrect size—though they did communicate with me prior to this finding and honored their coupon offered at the time that did not automatically apply.Be aware, these fans are total overall 36” blade length. The power of the fans to generate air is fantastic even with their smaller size! They really keeps things cool and are very quiet fans to boot.If I could change one feature, it would be the ability to connect the lights to a dimmer switch. This is a no go with the LED kit provided. The lights are very bright. That’s wonderful most of the time, but sometimes, having the ability to adjust the lumens would be nice.The three color tones are each pretty. My favorite is the warm because it’s not as bright. In all cases, the light passes through the crystals and casts a beautiful pattern on the wall!Another thing I’d change if I could—you do have to turn off the light and back on to go from one color tone to the next. It would be better if the remote simply had an up/down tone/brightness setting as another modern fan i purchased recently does.Overall, these fans are wonderful and a great value for the money!
