I’ve always purchased a hunter fan for my living room and bedroom. They are quiet, fairly easy to put up if you have a good ladder to lean on specially if you’re an older person being unsteady at times. Selected the second setting and you have very good airflow. On the lowest settings you have perhaps some airflow issues that seem not to be cooling the bedroom enough, but still passable. I have mine set on the second setting and that is way more than enough to keep it cool. The fan is quiet at any speeds and my last hunter, I kept it on 24/7 almost always, had some noise issues after the 14th year, then replaced it. Not bad.
