Both the engine cooling fan and the A/C fan went out on my 2007 Honda Element. I replaced each with the appropriate Dorman model (2 slightly different models required.)The auto shop wanted $680 to do it with their parts (wouldn't let me supply parts.) I bought this and the other Dorman fan for a total of $130. It took me, with no experience doing this work, about 4 hours start to finish to swap out the dead ones with these new ones. I referenced videos that walked through it. Only tools used were a flat head screw driver and a 10mm socket wrench. There's a little bit of under body stuff to do, but I was able to do it with no lift or stand. Most work was on top. A mechanic in a shop should be able to swap both of these out in under 1 hour. These Dorman units were solid and an exact fit. I literally unbolted the top two bolts, unplugged it, slid out the old ones and did the same in reverse to put these in. There are no bottom bolts; instead there are posts that slide into a bracket on the bottom of the radiator. Easy day. Felt like I accomplished something and saved some money while I was at it.
