Great light and fan to go in a shower stall, even though it isn't much to look at. I was worried that the light would be too dim or would not cast the light wide enough, but it lit our shower stall very well. Note that the light is LED, but it is a very yellow color, so keep that in mind if you prefer the daylight color. The fan is incredibly quiet and still move a lot of air. The fan does start up slowly as others mentioned, but that doesn't seem to be a problem. There is a green light that turns on when the fan is on, probably so that you know it is running. I honestly could not tell it was running the first time until it had reached full speed. Installation was typical for an exhaust fan. You can screw it to a rafters or you can use the included braces to hang it between 2 rafters. We did both to keep it from vibrating later on. I wish the ul listed fans looked a bit nicer, but at least this one works very well.
