The Crestfield traditional ceiling fan with mass appeal, fit flawlessly in your home's contemporary interior design. The beautiful, clean finish options work together with the high contrast of angles throughout the design to create a look that will keep your space looking current and inspired. The LED light ceiling fan has fully-dimmable, high-efficient LED bulbs that give you total control over your lighting. The ceiling fan features 13-degree blade pitch optimized to ensure ideal air movement and peak performance. This reversible fan comes with reverse rotation fan blades that keep the rooms in your home feeling cool during summers and warm during winters. Ideal for use in rooms or spaces with low ceilings less than 9’ in height.
Reversible motor allows you to change the direction of your fan from downdraft mode during the summer which helps cool the room to updraft mode during the winter to help circulate trapped warm air near the ceiling.
LED light kit for lower energy consumption, brighter light output and a longer lifespan than traditional bulbs
Rated for indoor spaces only
Low Profile housing is specially designed to fit flush to the ceiling and is ideal for use in rooms with low ceilings
I used our own glass bells. The clear ones are ugly.I used our previous LED bulbs, not the ones in the box.I did not have the problem of the 1* reviews that say the lights spin with the fan. They were secure and solid.POSITIVE REMARKS1. Its quiet, unlike my previous fan and its "ne-yit ne-yit ne-yit" noise. Primary reason of replacement2. Mine was relatively balanced as is, without needing weights. HUGE plus.3. It does look nice; my wife loves the rustic gray blades. She keeps staring at it.4. Install relatively straight forward like most fansNEGATIVE REMARKS1. I'm tired of these manufacturers using a mount that "supports" itself against the ceiling drywall. A fan should never need this. If you want to stabilize a fan, you balance it. However, since the fan "hangs" in its mount by a single point, like it should, there really was no purpose in mounting against the ceiling drywall. I shimmed between the electrical box and the with washers so that my screws tighten up against the electrical box, and NOT so much the drywall ceiling.2. The housing is like 30% bigger than it needs to be. Much bigger than the motor assembly itself. I suspect the housing is the same on this 42" fan and the 52" fans so when looking at the 42" fan, the housing is huge.3. This fan isn't so compact for a standard height room. Looking at the design of the mount, down pole and housing; it could have been 2" higher up without so much wasted space. With my 8' walls, the max is about 6'3" before you bump the bells.4. While the fan does look nice, it looks nicer in THEIR pictures. The clear glass bells don't look very good IRL either.NEUTRAL REMARKS1. The fan has a different system for mounting its blades. The arm presses into grommets. Haven't seen that before. I'm OK with it. It does save a little bit of time not having to bolt them together2. In the past, there was always a rubber spacer between the fan arm and the motor. Not this time. Not sure if it matters?3. Instead of numbered bags for the hardware, the instructions used symbols. One of those symbols was wrong. It was the bag of 10 screws with split washers for the fan blades. Bag has a whirl symbol on it.END NOTESOverall, I'm pretty happy with the fan. It took me about 1.5 hours to install. Nothing was difficult for a person who has done this a dozen times. I'm looking forward to its quiet operation and well balanced blades. That alone is a huge improvement. We are debating getting the same fan in 52" with the matte gray finish for one of the bedrooms. I'd have to order some bells for it though. The housing size should look more appropriate on a 52". Either that, or a more classic looking fan like our master bedroom has.Sorry my pictures not so great
