Despite some negative reviews I opted for the humidity sensor version of this fan and pleased I did. The sensor sensitivity is easily adjusted using the sensor/timer controls that are quickly accessible using the pull down face plate. I had to reduce the humidity sensitivity in summer as the air is more humid already. The fan is easy to install, whisper quiet and easy to wire if you follow the instructions carefully. The humidity sensor means that you effectively have two separate circuits, one that is controlled by the sensor/timer and so permanently live. The other circuit is controlled by your own wall switch/timer. I think some negative reviews have come from people getting these the wrong way round. Good unit overall. The unit is so quiet I really have to listen hard to hear it. It works automatically like clockwork whenever the shower runs, the fan runs, and then for a few minutes after the shower stops it automatically stops. The timer switch I installed on the switch circuit sorts out bathroom odors.
