I owned many motorcycles in the past with many different styles of saddle bags. Some easily removable and some not, with well made and designed hardware. These bags look good and offer me more room than what I had on this Harley in the past but have the worst hardware I’ve ever seen. Several things are causing problems. The top is awkward to open and close but you get used to it, the top hits the stock blinkers which need to be moved or replaced. I’ve replaced them with ones mounted into the bags. My main complaint is the brackets that mount on the cycle which hold the bags. Nothing lines up. The tabs on the bag brackets which correspond with holes on the cycle are off by 3/4“ on one side and 1/2” on the other. The gap between the saddlebag and the bracket or motorcycle is excessive at the rear and looks rather odd. There is a small metal/rubber mount between bag and the main bracket with a pin that goes through a rubber grommet on the bag but is not held on securely at all. When it’s mounted correctly the bag can just vibrate and fall off! With time on my hands and the machinery available I’ve chosen to make a project out of this by cutting the brackets apart and redesigning the mounts but I’d look elsewhere for an easily bolt on set of saddlebags.
