I just received this today and am not terribly impressed so far. The fan on the 240 mounts in to place with 3 rubber bushings that have a threaded stud in them. As you can imagine, this is a rather specialized piece of hardware... not exactly something you can buy at Home Depot. Volvo doesn't appear to sell the bushings by themselves either.On a 25 year old car, the original rubber hardware was in bad shape after thousands of heat cycles just inches away from the radiator. There was absolutely no way it could be transferred over despite my careful efforts. Naturally, Dorman decided that they would save themselves 52 cents and not include hardware on this $135 fan. Now I have a fan with no way to install it because I don't have hardware. I'm going to have to devise a "custom" installation method with an assortment of hardware from the hardware store, hoping that I can find rubber parts to help isolate vibration.The new Dorman part weighs a good bit less and is flimsier than the original Volvo part that is missing two blades.I know Dorman is not exactly known for selling the best quality parts, but c'mon. They should really include mounting hardware.Update: I was able to fabricate my own mounting solution. I cut down 1" tall rubber stoppers to about 1/2". I drilled a 1/4" hole through it and then installed a 30 mm long M6x1.00 bolt through the hole. M6 nuts are installed with loc-tite on the other side. This allowed me to install the fan using the original mounting points. Now to see how this thing actually holds up in use.
