I confess that I was hesitant to purchase this item as I wasn't truly sure what my problem was. I have a 1934 Hotrod that I've been experiencing 'OVER HEATING issues. It just runs hot....somewhere close to 210 degrees as average but often higher. I could never get it lower. I've been contemplating electric water pump or aluminum radiator. A friend of mine has had the same issue and he went to 'TWO' fans. One puller and one pusher. That did fix his problem. I have been reading about these 'SPAL' fans for sometime and I confess that I bought a cheaper version from 'BRAND X'....that was rated at 3000 cfm. I had no change in results so purchasing a SPAL was a bit of chance since the competitors fan didn't work any better than the one I had from a few years ago....but I've read so much about them that I couldn't resist trying. So....I installed the fan....and hard to believe.....everything works great now. Temperature never exceeds 180 degrees no matter what I do. I had no idea that one fan could make such a huge difference....but it did. I have never written one of these reviews before but I thought that this one time I'd share my experience with others. They are one remarkable fan. I actually added Air Conditioning to my Hot Rod over a year ago and with that running.....last summer my temperatures nearly hit 250...I had to turn it off.....But now....with A.C. on full.....sitting in traffic just this weekend.....temperature never exceeded 180 degrees. Yes...a remarkable fan.
