I was having a no start issue that seemed to be a PCM problem. This relay module not only controls the radiator fan but also power to the PCM and Fuel pump circuits. My 99 Mustang GT had would not start and the theft light was flashing. I have a factory diagnostic CD that had the test procedures for this unit and led me to know that was what failed. Here is the procedure for testing:CCRM testingX2 CHECK B+ AND IGN START/RUN VOLTAGE TO CCRMMeasure voltage to pin 8 and pin 10 (B+) of the CCRM harness connector.Key on, engine offMeasure voltage to pin 13 (ign start/run) of the CCRM harness connector. All voltages are greater than 10.5 volts?IF YES: Key off. Go to X3IF NO: B+ or IGN start/run circuit fault. Check condition of related fuses. If OK, repair open circuit. If fuse is damaged, check IGN start/run or B+ and VPWR circuits for short to ground before replacing.X3 CHECK CCRM GROUND CIRCUITMeasure voltage between pin 8 (B+) and pin 15 (GND) at the CCRM harness connector. Is voltage greater than 10.5 volts? If Yes: Replace CCRM - Four Seasons Part # 37514If NO: Repair open ground to CCRM (pin 15).Ford no longer sells this part and most auto parts store want to sell a rebuilt for more than this unit costs. It's a buggar to replace. It is mounted inside the passenger fender well. You have to remove the right front tire and fender liner to get to it.
