Installed this fan clutch on my 2005 GMC Canyon. I have been struggling with keeping my operating temps stable since I tow a small trailer with my truck and it really was never intended to tow anything at all. Years ago I installed a "heavy duty" fan clutch that engages the fan at lower coolant temps in an attempt to keep them from climbing under a heavy load. This did work somewhat but at the cost of lost horse power, fuel economy, and noise. I never would have believed that I was losing so much power and burning so much more fuel just because of a fan clutch but I was wrong. I looked at all of the bargain fan clutches that were offered here on Amazon but so many of the reviews stated that the clutch stays engaged even when it shouldn't and makes tons of noise and robs power. I decided to buy the AC Delco OEM part and I am very happy with the results. The truck drives like new, makes noticeable more power and mileage is up almost 2 MPG. Don't be cheap and just buy the name brand. Some things you can skimp on but this isn't one of them. Worth every penny and I am very satisfied.
