I purchased two and had them installed by electrician outdoors, under covered roof and 10-foot ceiling height. The only thing I dislike is that you have to install batteries inside the wall control switch, which means when it's time to replace the batteries, I have to hire an electrician. I also purchased the hand controls separately and they work like a charm. The fans are very powerful. Even in 100 degree weather they cool the space outdoors at least 20 degrees.
