I purchased this to install where I needed a bit of airflow and wanted a more fandolier option.Pros:Easy to Install - it's light enough that you don't need a heavy duty fan box for it. It wires up easily in a couple of minutes.Easy to Operate - Some might not like using a remote instead of switches, but it works for what I needed, and ICons:Quality Control - Some of the glass 'crystals' are the wrong size for the opening on the fan. Some assembler likely ran out of the proper size at their station and used what they had on hand. I was able to make it work, but be sure to check.Crystal Attachment - The crystals are attached with what amounts to a flimsy nail. It works, but it's ugly and obvious against the black frame of the fan. I replaced them with a darker woven wire and it blends into the background nicely. All you see is the crystals, and not what appears to be a nail bent in half, then twisted.Fan direction - There's no way that I saw to change the direction of the fan. It's always a down-draft, or summer mode. Again, that's fine for my use but maybe not for yours.If you don't mind a bit of DIY, it's a nice option for light and airflow.
