Safety codes require this fan be mounted 10 feet high so it is often deemed an Industrial Ceiling Fan.

We purchased 3 outdoor fans for our large barn last summer and had them installed by professionals. We purchased extension poles but were told they didn't fit so they were installed with the ones included. One fan hit the cross bar the first week and was no longer usable. Another fan had a bent blade, but was still usable on low speed for a while and stopped working at about the 6 month mark. The 3rd fan worked at low speed for about 9 months. Now none of them work and the photos show how rusty the blades are. These fans replaced fans we had for many years. They are not acceptable for outdoor use and we now have to purchase new fans and hire professionals to install. An expensive journey.
