This thing works great!! Used it to replace our 20-year old blower motor that had failed in our air handler. The amps were a little lower than the original motor but it didn't end up making a difference...I've had it installed for about 2 mos. now & the air blows through the vents just as hard as it did before & I dunno if it's any quieter than the original motor but it's definitely not any louder if that helps...I highly recommend purchasing this one if you are currently on the fence b/c I know @ least for me it was hard to find a good aftermarket motor that fits your current setup & has the exact specs or at least similar specs to your original motor. I did find an oem exact replacement motor but this one was about $200 cheaper if u can believe that so we went this route...shipping was fast & package arrived still in good shape, I did have to purchase a band-clamp for mine additionally for about twenty-five bucks just so u know what to expect...
