The fan shroud basically houses the fan blades securing it in place and keeping it from damaging the other engine components that may disturb the smooth and even operation of the engine. With excellent operating temperature management, allowable levels of engine temperature are stabilized. The radiator is well built but the mounting bracket attachment locations would not fit the existing attachment locations. I had to modify the mounting bracket slotted holes to fit the existing attachment locations. The mounting holes for the fan shroud need to be enlarged to fit the fit the existing attachment locations. The driver side electric fan needed modification to miss the water pump pulley. The fan assembly needed to be moved and new attachment locations drilled out. Also, the mounting elevation's locations force the radiator lower than the factory location. Power steering lines and steering gear are very close to the bottom outlet. The mounting bracket may need to be modified to raise the radiator about 1/2"
