Purchased two of these fans for a covered patio - primarily for their contemporary look, the lack of a light kit we didn't need, the airflow rating and the price. We're very happy with all aspects of them. This fan is a true "outdoor" fan as it does have the extra seals to ensure water stays out of the wiring and fan motor. Fan comes with matching 3.5" and 6" matching downrods. Assembly was just a tad easier than other fans since there are only 3 blades, and neither of the two we purchased required any balancing. The wireless remote was a nice included accessory, but isn't required if you'd rather use a wall switch speed control unlike some of the other fans on the market.Airflow of this fan is 5450 CFM suing 58 watts making it's airflow efficiency 94.97 CFM/watt. There is a 1 year manufacturer's (defect) warranty and the motor itself has a lifetime warranty (excludes the wall controls and electrical components).
