I got this to slow a table fan in my bedroom. It controls the speed well, but causes the motor to buzz. Its loud enough to defeat the purpose of slowing the fan so I'll use it elsewhere. This seems to be common with fan speed controls, I'd like to find one that overcomes the issue.
