York OEM Condenser Fan Motor 1/4 HP 230V - F48E06A48 Replacement Part for HVAC Systems - Perfect for Home & Commercial AC Units

I was expecting this motor to be an exact replacement for my older AO Smith unit. The motor comes with wires with lugs on them not a plastic connector as show in picture. The purple wire on the new motor takes the place of the Red one on the older motor. Probably newer international code? I had to bypass the original plastic connector clip and run the new wires into the places they go. The length of the wire is long enough to make this change. There is a Black Brown Purple and a Green Ground. Process of elimination told me the Purple took the place of the Red wire. LOL Everything fit perfect and connected just fine. AC unit is back to normal making very cool air here in Las Vegas in the 115 degree summer. One thing to watch is the fan adjustment. I dont think the shaft length is the same as old motor so measure you fan placement on the old motor before you remove so you can reinstall into the same spot on new motor. I didnt measure this and the fan looks about a half inch lower than the unit next to it.
