It moves a great amount of air. The only issue is one that most people seem to have - slow start-up time. It seems is an issue with DC motors. they take a moment to start up - about 15 seconds. Disconcerting for someone who wants to know that the fan is really on. Once its up to speed, it is quiet and moves a tremendous amount of air
