This is a beautiful fan-delier! My office is large, has a window that is large and gets hot as I am in the south. I bought this to replace a chandelier because my office was too hot. I wanted to maintain my glam aesthetic, but desperately needed a quiet fan to cool the room down. This fan meets all my needs! It is not easy to put up in my (or my husband's opinion), we rate it as a level 6 of difficulty out of 10. Took us a couple of tries w/ the breaker and making sure the remote relay fit in the ceiling hole and worked. But it took less than 2 hours. You will have to manually hang the crystals on the bottom part. I am not crafty and do not like things like that, but I did not find putting the crystals on to be a deal breaker. When the fan is on high the crystals move and knock together a little initially, but after a few minutes that stops and they sway just a smidge without noise. I don't have any noise complaints and I'm on conference calls a lot.
