As the other reviews said, it is easy to get the old one off, and the new one on. One of the reviewers mentioned that they had to use zip ties to hold some of the wires. I'm glad he wrote that. I guess because this has to fit many different sequoia's it may not have certain tabs on the shroud in places where you need to clip in the wiring harness. Once I got the new fan, I took off the old one and you could see there were a few differences with the plastic shroud in that there were some tabs on the old one that some of the wiring harness clipped into, and the new one did not have these tabs. So what I did was flip the fan over so the blade was facing me. There are three screws you can remove which takes off the blade. Once you get the blade off, there are three more screws that hold the fan motor to the shroud. I unscrewed those which left me with an empty shroud. I did the same thing with the new fan, then put the new fan motor into the old shroud, and then attached the new fan. It was a quick 5 minute job. The old screws can be tough to get out, so put a little penetrating oil or wd-40 on them before you try to unscrew them. Overall, this was a very easy fix if your AC is cold while the car is moving, but then warms up as the car sits at a stoplight or in the parking lot. Once I installed the fan, I turned on the AC, once the temperature/pressure got to where it needed to be, the fan kicked on and kept the air inside nice and cool. Great product.
