TYC cooling fan assemblies are designed to be comparable to OE in performance, validated through air volume test that simulates cooling ability. Each unit is an assembly with motor, fan, and shroud to simplify replacement compared to working on individual components. To ensure durability, each cooling fan design are run through tests like : corrosion resistance, endurance, moisture, torsion and, vibration. Each unit goes through a quick power-on test before leaving the factory to ensure functionality.
【Perfect Fit】Direct OE replacement with OE comparable motor, mounting provisions, and wiring harness to ensure drop-in precise fitment
【Premium Quality】 Built with high-quality PA material for higher heat resistance and higher flexibility, resulting in increased durability and fewer vibrations/noise
【Exceptional Performance】 Utilizes licensed Bosch/Continental VDO shroud and blade design patents (where applicable) for true OE comparable construction and airflow
【Vehicle Tested】Tested on applicable vehicles prior to market release, providing seamless integration for control module and brushless units
I purchased this Replacement Radiator/Condenser Cooling Fan Assembly and a pair of the AC Delco PT2188 GM Original Equipment Multi-Purpose Wire Connectors as suggested. After removing the old unit and installing the new one I thought that this job was almost completed. The final step was to plug in the connectors. No matter how hard I tried the auxiliary/ac fan plug would not slide in and snap together. I finally gave up and removed the new fan assembly to see what was going on. As it turned out there is plastic trim around the receptacle plug housing that should have been notched to allow the plug to properly slide in and snap together. On the auxiliary/ac fan motor, the receptacle plug trim was not notched and was blocking the plug from seating in the socket.Rather than returning the fan assembly I made a small notch with my trusty Dremel and voila the plug fit like a glove.Granted it is easier installing this fan assembly on the second pass. If I had it to do again I would make sure that the plugs fit before installing it the first time. The fan assembly works perfectly. I hope this small tip will help.
