I had this terrible noise that I was looking for for months. It first sounded like a pump was struggling and was very faint, but noticeable. Then it sounded more like a grinding noise (so I thought it was a pulley, so I replaced the idlers and supercharger pulley), then it got louder and went from a high pitch to a low pitch then finally back to high pitch and super loud. Loud enough to finally hear where it was coming from and it was this fan. I installed this fan on my 2006 Mini Cooper S and it bolts up perfectly. The noise is gone and it seems to be working just as it needs. I was scared that this fan was going to cost $100+ but this was a good deal and it is the whole assembly, where many others only provide the fan for the same price. If anything happens to the fan in the next year or so, I will update my review, but for now, everything is great!
