This is a heavy duty fan clutch it has a lot more lock up than the original AC Delco unit. Occasionally will throw a check engine light because it spins way too much especially when cold but I pull a big heavy boat with my V8 trailblazer and it likes to overheat when pulling 8000 pounds. Usually if I do throw a check engine light it’s usually gone on the next start cycle.
