Quality and welds seem decent. I've only ran it for one short drive so far and it held about halfway on the temp gauge. Might give it another star if it holds up to daily driving.This is not a drop in kit, at least for a 92 4runner 3.0 4x4. The tab on the driver side hits the steering box and I had to shave it as seen in the pictures. Not really a huge deal but, definitely kind of annoying to have to pull it back out. Also, there's not really any place to put the probe without buying another product or drilling and tapping. The last thing is the overflow tube threads are junk and you have to be super careful threading the nipple in or it will mess the threads up. Definitely can be installed in a 2nd gen 4runner but, not for a novice mechanic.
