Yes! Finally a quiet fan. Having a DC motor, this fan makes no noise. I had ordered two AC motor fans from Amazon and replaced them both due to annoying motor humming. The only sound that comes from this fan is the air movement of the blades. Just like it should be. If I can be critical about one thing, it's that you have to cycle through 3 light modes (cool, medium, warm) every time you turn the light off and on. You should be able to lock in a setting. However, I do not use the light on my fan very much, so this is a small issue to me. The remote control is also very nice, and I like that it has six speeds; you can also change the airflow direction right from the remote, which is very convenient. Very pleased overall.
