Very quiet and does the job on a 10x6 ft bathroom in less than 20 min. I have a lot of glass shower space. It takes 10 seconds to turn on once the switch is on. But it is supposed to come on when a motion does by but it does not do that too often. That’s ok for me. Always check the Sones when buying fan- the lower the # the quieter it is and if that is important to you. This one is. .1 sones.
