I was excited, and looking forward to get a fan clutch like the one in the image.A Behr, made in Germany! When the package arrived the box said Hayden 2597 made in China.Made in China was also printed on the clutch itself.I called Amazon and expressed my displeasure. They said they would send a replacement in 4 to 5 days.My Audi had already been parked for 4 days waiting for the first fan clutch. The replacement got here in two days. The second fan clutch was slightly different than the first and looked a little better made. But it was not a Behr and was still made in china. The box still said made in China but there was no country of origin on the part itself.Since my car had been parked for over 6 days I decided to install the second one that looked a little better made. I installed the second fan clutch on the car and there was pretty good resistance when spun by hand. After driving a total of 2 hours on the freeway, one hour each time, I popped the hood and turned off the engine. The piece of garbage Hayden 2597 clutch was free spinning.Free spinning fan clutch is by definition DEFECTIVE.The resistance to turning when new, two hours of use previously, was totally gone. When I spun by hand it rotated several revolutions when the engine was at operating temp. This defective fan clutch could have led to an overheat condition and ruined my Aluminum Heads if I had not been keeping an eye on the gauges, and an OBDII scanner.DO NOT BUY, what a waste of time.....
