One of the easiest installations I've done. The fan is compact, well-balanced and very quiet; vibration-free at all speeds. It's also spec'd as being more efficient than other fans in its size range or larger, probably because of the six blades vs. the three to five of most fans. Anyone with moderate DIY skills should have no difficulty with the installation.It's ideal for our 12x12 den/media room, and could probably be used in a somewhat larger room as well considering the volume of airflow. The matte silver finish should make it a natural for a home office or a "Techno" decorating scheme, and it is so quiet I wouldn't hesitate to use it in a bedroom.
