In So Cal so this is fine for winter riding with an extra layer underneath, maybe down to the low 50's. I'm 5'11" 160 and the large works great. With or without a sweatshirt underneath the fit is good. Was replacing a Flyer mesh jacket that cost twice as much and this one does the job just great for me. Haven't tried in hot weather yet without the lining but can't imagine it'll be too hot. Highly recommend.
