Ok , Let’s start with the good parts . It’s a nice all aluminum radiator , the fans are quieter then some and come attached in a shroud. The not so good . This was listed as a direct replacement for my truck ( 1992 Chevy 3500 dually - 454 big block ) and yes it was sized perfectly. There was no way to use the same mounts , I had to fabricate a bracket to lock it into place . the heater core line from the truck is 5/8” and the outlet from the radiator is 3/8 or 1/4 ( not sure ) with a 1/4 pipe threaded bung. if I added all the needed adaptors to make the 5/8 line fit , it would have reduced the flow greatly to the heater core , greatlyreducing my cab heat. I was able to relocate the heater core line to a pre existing hole in the water pump . And using the the hole in the radiator meant for the heater core line and installed the temp sensor . It’s a tight squeeze routing the hose so close to the temperature sensor at the intake , but it fits & works. The nipple for the over flow tank was slightly undersized so I tried to remove it to replace it and it started to strip . I cut my loses and used steelstick to seal it up , and it has held up for 1,000 miles with no problems .There is also no instructions for the relay , and the terminals supplied were no all weather . I recommend getting a set of shrink type all weather connectors and some additional 12 gauge wiring before trying to install .The wiring out of relay should be listedRed - battery positive ( constant )Black - temperature sensorBlue - wire to blue fan wireWhite - to a circuit in the vehicle that is onlyPowered when the ignition is on , but deactivated when the engine is cranking ( like the radio , or the heat / AC circuit .
