I rarely write reviews, but this was such a bad product design decision that it warrants the time.While the ceiling fan itself is good, the wall mount is embarrassingly bad. The wires on the wall unit ONLY connect to the power button at the bottom, which does NOTHING. A quick disassembly of the unit confirms this. My only recourse was to buy a wall plate insert, close off the wires inside the electrical box, and cut the wires from the wall unit (turning it into a remote of sorts)I cannot recommend this to anyone as nobody will want to have to pull the unit from the wall whenever they need to change batteries.
