I had no air circulation in my kitchen and in the hot south, cooking was brutal in there! I wanted a light that looked ordinary enough for a kitchen but also one that had the hidden quality of a fan! My friends went nuts over this thing when they saw it, running around showing it to others on their phones and it's in my house! It was so funny! So installation was fun for my husband and son, but once they actually read the directions it was fine. I do like that it has the option for the cool LED or the warm LED lights as we have warm LED in the kitchen. The best is that it really is almost virtually silent when you run the fan. It does just what I needed and does a great job of circulating the air in my kitchen. When I don't need the fan, it's hidden and really no one notices it. Great purchase for me!
