ACDelco Professional 15-4911 Engine Cooling Fan Clutch - High Performance Replacement for GM Vehicles - Perfect for Overheating Prevention & Engine Temperature Regulation

I have been fighting with this fan clutch for over a year. My OEM original fan clutch went bad so I replaced it with this one. I still had overheating issues when I towed up hills. I thought the fan clutch couldn't be it at this point so I replaced my radiator, thermostat, all belts, coolant, water pump, checked everything over and over again chasing my own tail on trying to figure out why this was happening. Every time I towed up a hill, overheating, over and over again.I then noticed that the new fan clutch was not working at high RPMs. I would listen for it to run and air to blow at higher RPM when hot and nothing. It would just stop and spin freely. At idle, it would tighten up and spin to look like it was working. Then, I'd get back in and drive- and it would then stop again once the RPMs were up. So you can see why I struggled. It would not spin while I was driving, but when I pulled over to check it, it would then be spinning to fool you into thinking it was working.I went to a local autoparts store and bought a different brand and it works perfectly. I now have normal temps at all times.This fan clutch never worked. It sent me around and around with my cooling system trying to resolve the overheating issues when the clutch was junk the whole time. It could have cost me an engine. I spent all kinds of unnecessary time and money trying to figure this out when it was this useless clutch! Do NOT buy this item!!I'm pretty upset that I was sent on this wild goose chase over a faulty item and it makes me seriously distrust parts like this on Amazon.
