Purchased this fan bracket for 1996 GMC Sonoma with 2.2 liter engine. The picture shows no studs installed in the hub, the bracket I got had studs installed. Trouble is they were installed backwards, so I removed and installed the studs correctly. Then during installation I noticed that the bracket wasn't sitting correctly on the front of the engine. The lower edge of the bracket was hitting the timing cover. So I ended up grinding down the edge to fit around the timing cover. Thought I was golden until I tried to install the lower thermostat housing, One corner of the hole was obstructing the mounting surface for the thermostat housing. Grounded area to fit.Overall was disappointed over the whole ordeal but the bracket does seem to be working for now.
