We have it in a 10 x 10 loft area ..this is perfect for it. Moves a decent amount of air. The lights are bright.One small glitch during putting it together, the light controller inside the light bracket was bang in the middle..that interfered with mounting it to the fan body. Was an easy fix..its attached with double sided tape so moved it to one side.
