Not sure what happened to the factory radiator fan in my 2006 Honda Ridgeline, but it started making a horrible rattling noise while the A/C was operating. I found that one of the fan blades was making contact with the inside of the fan shroud. It had warped or bent, or perhaps become unbalanced. Regardless, a new fan assembly was necessary and this unit has the best ratings for the money. It was an easy installation, made easier by draining about a half gallon of coolant from the radiator so it wouldn't spill all over the ground when I disconnected the top radiator hose to access the fan assembly. The whole process took about 30 minutes start to finish without rushing. Highly recommend this fan assembly!
