So far it’s a great upgrade. It looks fantastic and bolted right in. The fans are not crazy loud and really move some air! However, and don’t get me wrong they send you everything to get the job done. So all this extra stuff I did was to take it to the next level. The wiring kit is kind of a cheap universal kit. None of it is weather proof (relay or fuse holder). So I got some proper dust and water proof relays and fuse holders. You also need another relay if you if you want your fans to kick on with the A/C. That’s super important. The temp sender they give you is useless. My thermostat in my vortec 5.3l is 195 degrees. Which is probably the case in almost every car. Your fans should kick on 10 or 15 degrees after the thermostat opens. So I ended up getting a 210 on 195 off temp sender. Also your gonna need an adapter if you want this thing to thread into your passenger side head. I think it’s a 12mm X 1.5 to 3/8 NPT. And hours of soldering, shrink wrap, poly loom, you have a sweet set up! I’m not throwing shade at this kit. I could have set this up with everything they sent.
