Westinghouse 7305200 Drake 48-Inch Indoor Ceiling Fan with Light Kit, Gun Metal Finish - Perfect for Living Room, Bedroom, and Office Cooling

Ordered these to replace two 20 year old ceiling fans in my kids rooms. Unfortunately they sat in their boxes for a few months before I got around to installing them, so it was beyond the return date. Both fans wobble really bad and it seems like the units themselves are out of balance. I've taken the junction boxes out of the ceiling to verify the braces in the attic were tight and wedged some shims between the boxes and the drywall. So the mounting surfaces are not the problem.I've spent hours trying to balance these fans to no avail. I can get them to wobble somewhat less, but it's still significant. And this wobble causes them to squeak and crack, which keeps my daughters up at night. So we have to turn them down to the lowest speed which hardly moves any air. I also put up another model of this brand in my living room with the same issue.I will definitely never purchase another Westinghouse fan and would not recommend.
