Installed in a 1940 Olds with a transplant Chevy 292 six. It was narrow enough to fit and the height worked out for the application. The fan and temp sensor control wiring and relay work great. The only problem encountered was the transmission cooler fittings should have been 1/4"NPT for better fluid flow. It may cause a cooling issue for automatic transmissions. The 1/8"fittings it requires have very small passages, restricting trans fluid flow. I considered re-tapping the welded on cooler fittings to 1/4" but was concerned with not being able to remove the drill and tap chips from the cooler core. Another possible issue is the supplied 19 psi radiator cap. It may be a bit too much for older style engines. Overall it is well made and works.
