Each unit goes through a quick power-on test before leaving the factory to ensure functionality.

My sister-in-law's car was making a loud grinding noise, her fan had broken and needed to be replaced. Called the parts stores around town and they wanted twice as much for the fans they were selling and on top of that they were a few days out to even get it in. Found this and she wanted to get it because it was cheaper and would take the same amount of time to get. Exact OE replacement as far as I could tell and worked great. Still using it in the car for the last 9 months and has not had any problems with it at all.
