Larger then I had expected. Yes I read the measurements but did really think it through.I works very well. Noise level is as expected and the hens have adjusted well.I suggest installing prior to completing the building. I had to take the top board off (thankfully it wasn't too hard) as it was impossible to install post build. Yes, I build this all on my own ? The canvas is also to help reduce the interior heat. Next up, insulation.Setting the fan up was super easy, however, I wish I had included a on/off switch (not included). As it is, I have to unplug it each time I want to turn it off. This isn't a huge deal as I've rarely had to turn it off due to this summer's heat wave.Over all, I'm very happy with this purchase.Side note, as it is a very powerful fan it also doubles as a bug killer. It's a little messy and I won't gross anyone out with a pic of this.
