Powerful motor, love the remote control, very responsive ( batteries already in remote! ) . This fan moves A LOT of air with 3 speed controls. Bought it as current living room has no ceiling fan and it does the job nicely. Typical fan noise but we don’t find it loud or disruptive at all. The motor is quite hefty and works very well, hubby was impressed. Of course the fan cage is plastic as is the stand and pole but don’t let that put you off as it is stable with no wobbles at all. The first few days there was a plastic grinding noise when fan was put in rotate mode but we figured it was simply a plastic burr left over from the manufacturing process and assumed it would work it’s self out which it has after a few weeks. First time I’ve had a remote controlled fan and as I’m currently recovering from surgery & have limited mobility the remote is a convenient feature. Never buying a fan without a remote again.
