Other fans use blades and/or housings made of plastic or thin guage galvanized tin. This fan is constructed of heavy guage steel, fully powder-painted black. Moves massive amounts of air, and motor seems top quality & very quiet.I think it's the best attic fan I've found. And price is the same as much poorer quality fans. This fan is the best buy. Extremely happy I chose this fan to replace old attic fan.
