As a first time homeowner, one of the most important things to me was having fans in the house. I purchased an attached townhouse which only has windows on the ends of the unit. The airflow can tend to be limited if there is no fan in place. As such, I started doing my research on fan installation and options. After purchasing and installing, I can confidently say that I am so ecstatic with my decision.Pros:- My guest bedroom is very small (8x11 ft) so I needed a unit that fit the space and was not too bulky. The glass encasing on the light leaves the room feeling open while the metal mount is fresh and classy.- The ceiling height is 7.5 ft so I needed a flush mount. This fan worked perfectly and doesn’t feel like I will hit my head as I navigate the room.- I have never installed a fan before. I pride myself on being DIY savvy but had never rewired electricity. The instruction manual made it super easy to understand.- I mentioned briefly, but the fan is very aesthetically pleasing. My house is more modern with a touch of farmhouse.- The fan blades are reversible. One side is darker brown, the other is almost like white oak. Both are beautiful. I think I will switch things around every year or so.- The remote is super easy to mount and use. I love having that feature even though I can also use my wall switch.- Great value for the price. A lot of similar fans are double the cost.- The air flow/ fan speed are excellent. The 3 different speeds help you adjust to what you need.Cons:- It is not a smart fan. It does not have the capability of connecting to Alexa or other voice enabled devices. That’s fine for me because my house is only 1100 square feet. I keep the remote on my nightstand so it serves a similar purpose.- The glass encasing for the light does get smudged when touched. This requires you to either carefully clean or detach and clean that way.I have already purchased and installed the larger version of this fan (52 inches) in my Master! Highly recommend.
