Amazon listed that this fan clutch fit my E36 BMW, but they weren't aware there were two version of clutches used on the E36s. Some had a 4 bolt mounting pattern, others had 3. Make sure you pull the old clutch off your car to see if you have 3 or 4 bolt before you order a clutch. Or maybe there's a way to determine this by the VIN number. Either way, this 3 bolt wasn't the right fit for my car
