I have a 2004.5 Volvo S40 T5. The radiator fan went out when my alternator started going bad. I had ordered another fan that was about 40 bucks cheaper on amazon. When I got that fan and installed it, it didn't work (the bogus sellers sent me a non functional fan...verified after I tested it and ran some diagnostics on it).I was pissed so I sent that fan back for a refund and found this Dorman 621-274 radiator fan assembly. I ordered it and installed it this past Saturday. Took me about 45 minutes from start to finish to get this fan in. Turned the car on and BAM!! It worked! My engine coolant temp doesn't reach over 198 now..my A/C now runs when I'm stopped at stop lights or in heavy traffic! I couldn't be more happy about the product or purchasing it. Dorman is a good brand. I had bought a variable timing solenoid for my engine intake a while ago and it worked flawlessly so I decided to go with them on the radiator fan and I'm so glad that I did!I would highly recommend this product...it's a few hundred bucks cheaper than the Volvo part and it works just as well, if not better.Good luck on your car repairs!
