Product works exactly has advertised.comes with everything needed for installation on wooden dog house.The only negative in my opinion is the thermostat controls. Would be easier if adjustments could be made to set temps rather than just low- high.The fan does not cool anything but does keep fresh air going into the dog house with little noise. Dog did not mind one bit. We keep the fan running 24/7 during the summer months.The heater works great. I added some sheet metal behind the heater for good measure to make sure the wood didn’t get too hot. The heater does get hot to touch, but not hot enough to burn anything or the dog.We only use it when needed. I have been using this thing for almost a year now with no problems. It is currently 16 degrees with snow and real feels in the single digits and is a steady 45 degrees inside the dog house.It goes without saying if you have a cheap un-insulated dog house the heater probably won’t function to your liking in extremely cold conditions. Ours is a wooden framed house with insulation throughout, metal wall panels, and shingle roof. Holds heat well.I would recommend this to anyone with outside pets.
