Hunter Original extension downrods match Hunter Original fans for fit and finish and have tapered threads for deeper engagement. Hunter Original downrods are threaded at both ends and are only for use with Hunter Original fans.

Actually returned the product. I needed Oil Rubbed Bronze. There are about 3-4 different Bronze colors in down rods. Aged Bronze, New Bronze, Oil Rubbed Bronze and I'm pretty sure I ran into a 4th. Just be aware as the ceiling fans are different colors.
